Finishing craft projects

Finally got round to getting back to my blog - Finished my pirate back in January and finally finished my quilt too! lots of things going on - so I have knitted a battenberg tea cosy and have almost completed a mushroom tea cosy! Three weeks to go until I'm full term so trying to finish off as many projects as possible!

Also screen printing course went well and led to a few little creations - this being the cutest!

I was hoping to do a few things for baby - but getting pretty uncomfortable now - so not quite sure that's going to happen...

Knitting by design

The art of knitting. Getting lost around and under a mountain of wool is one of my favourite things! I love the start of a project - and the feeling of achievement when it is complete.
My downfall of course is that once started, I get distracted by other things! But I am determined now to complete this pirate.
I've stuffed the body, and over the weekend made up the arms and hands and now I have to sew the left arm onto the body.
Having started the project some time ago I have now lost one of his feet, mostly likely to the sofa monster, who has a tendency to steal my beautiful things, including my self healing craft mat, which has since been recovered.
So my one footed pirate will have to wait until it turns up or I find the time to make him a replacement.
Redoing a foot can really take the fun out of knitting.
